I bought this from a friend who has gotten into the Jeunesse distributor business. The reason I'm writing a review here is because I always check Amazon reviews before buying something, so I hope my review will help someone else. I've done some research on the product and I can't find anything contrary to what the company says, that this is based on findings from scientific research on stem cells. The marketing materials include testimonials from doctors that seem to exist and to be associated with this research. I haven't looked up their actual publications, though. In any case, one study carried out and published by Jeunesse indicated that, from about 86 women tested, this product did not work for about 20% of them. I seem to be in this category. I have been using the serum for over a month, day and night, without fail. I have even increased the amount I apply to my face, neck and decolletage, in case I wasn't using enough the first two weeks. I am a young-looking (according to friends and acquaintances), 41-year-old, East Indian female. I have decent skin, but over the years I have developed small wrinkles around my eyes and mouth, faded sun spots and acne scars, and my neck and chest also have fine wrinkles. I have been evaluating about three separate "problem" areas to see if there has been any change, and I do not see any. Furthermore, no one I interact with has said that I look "different" or that my skin is glowing, whereas when I did botox injections between my eyebrows, the reaction was immediate from friends and family that I looked younger and well-rested (and they didn't know about the botox). So, although none of this is very scientific, that is my assessment of the serum: that it did not work for me and is not worth the cost compared to other products that I have used to keep my skin healthy and young-looking. In my opinion, eating healthy, exercising and drinking lots of water, and hot yoga, has a better result on my skin than any product I have tried. This is based on the fact that when I was doing all of those things, that's when people would tell me how beautiful my skin was. So I'm trying to get back to that routine after falling into bad habits this last year, and it will probably cost a lot less than this serum. Hope this helps!
Fast shipping! This product doesnt make you go to the bathroom like other products do and thats why I love it. Great product to have on hand if you feel like having a cheat meal.
My sister got this from the library once and since then has been pining for it. My mother at last decided to buy it for her and she's thrilled! As an Ashkenazic Jew my family's cuisine doesn't vary much- lots of noodles and potatoes for us, thank you very much- and this cookbook is an adorable and delicious shock! Dinah formatted it in a unique way that's great for any Harry Potter lover (it's always nice to feel like you're living your favorite book) and that makes it a great book to cook from and even (if you're bored) just to look through for fun and informative facts.
I have thin, oily hair, color treated, a bit dry at the ends, and length past my shoulders. I decided to try Hair One after falling in love with Wen sweet almond mint. I have tried all but one (olive oil) of the formulations of Hair One. This particular one, for color treated hair, doesn't seem to get my hair CLEAN of it's own oils. It conditions my hair great, but it doesn't seem to rinse out completely. I follow the directions exactly with the many pumps, the comb, the rinsing, the cool water. After my hair has dried, it looks a bit greasy and weighed down and by day 2 I am a grunge rocker! However, if I use this Hair One as a conditioner after using a regular shampoo, my hair feels really nice, soft and bouncy. It might be worth a try for you, but for my hair type it's too heavy.
Great book! Wasn’t sure which one to choose but this one kept popping up over and over and with the high reviews for previous versions I decided it was a no brainer.
Good looking and light weight. Still getting compliments on the bag. Would be 5 star if one strap (handle) that is on the bottom of the bag was on the reverse side that is the same side with the solid handle. Otherwise its been great.
In the event that some psycho keys the absolute hell out of your car, this product is only so-so. When you look closely, it's still really easy to make out what the words are, and there's still quite a bit of indentation. Whoever did it, did it with passion. Some of the really deep spots didn't go away at all, but it's not obvious from 20 feet away anymore. I can see how this probably works really well on superficial scratches, but on something deep.... Ehhhh. Even if I had used a paint pen, like the directions suggest for deep scratches, I still don't think they would have really gone away. For the price, it's worth a try - but when it looks like someone took a knife to your fender, don't expect any miracles.
