While the book does some things well and has great ideas, the characters aren't developed and the story is very paint by numbers.There's really nothing here you haven't read before in another, better fantasy book. It's just...uninspiring. Which is frustrating because it had potential to be so much better than it is.
An enjoyable read. Some what predictable but a good account of how difficult life must of been for two young Irish girls trying to make a life for themselves in America. I did enjoy it
I really like this book for my 20 mth old daughter and she does as well. I just wish that it was the bigger version (like it used to be) instead of a small board book which clutters all of the pictures together. Also, there definitely aren't 100 words since there are quite a few words that are repeated like pajamas, flower, car, train, ball and duck. Overall, it does have a lot of pictures that she enjoys looking at and bright colors to talk about and help keep her attention.

I mean, you can write down all the things you've bought in them (with check #'s, dates, business names, memos, price amounts), keep track of all that money you deposited in your bank account, and instead of using your calendar on your smart phone or the one hanging on the wall in the kitchen, you can see what day August 4, 2015 will be WITH THESE CHECKBOOK REGISTERS! EPIC!!!! These are great and I wouldn't expect anything else from these wonderful checkbook registers!
Longfintuna malware was on my laptop and would pop-up full screen adds to tempt me to click on it. I never did thankfully. It is a difficult malware to remove. Norton 360, Malwarebytes, & Spybot Search & Destroy all missed this malware. I decided to try Webroot and it seems to have completely removed Longfintuna malware! It has worked flawlessly along side of Norton so far. The software did a compatibility check prior to installation. Webroot is a great program/suite, and I since purchased a multiple computer upgrade to add it on my desktop computer. It automatically scans everyday and protects you in other ways too.So far I am very happy with this software!
