I bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad. He likes beer and likes making his own wine at a winery, so why not give this a try! I bought thi along with a combo pack of other beers to make. He thought it was okay! His first batch turned out flat, so with his second he was a lot more precise with the directions. He said his second turned out much better. This Mr. Beer beer kit wouldn't be good for anyone who already knows what they are doing with beer-making. I would say this is good for people who just want to try it out and see what it's like before they invest a lot of time and money into the good kits.
The continuity of this book seemed lacking. One second characters revealed information to others and the next minute expected them not to know it. After this happened multiple times to quite a few characters, even I had trouble figuring out what was going on. Quite disjointed and super confusing. This book needs work. I am very disappointed as usually Mandy's books are great!
Signed up for auto delivery with a Nerium Brand partner. She said I can't just buy one bottle without signing up for auto delivery which meant I had to produce a credit card number and the Nerium Co. would automatically send me another bottle in 30 days from date of 1st purchase. I was reluctant to agree to the auto delivery because I wanted to try the product 1st to determine if I liked it enough to order more. She said if I decided I didn't like the product, I could cancel the auto-delivery within 10 days of the auto-delivery and I would be given a refund of the purchase price (not including shipping and handling charges). Several problems for me. 1) the shipping and handling costs are high....close to $17...which brought up the cost of the product to approx. $100 per bottle. 2) The time-frame for return begins when the co. Machine came in Asian language, we got through that. Started working fine then our computer system went through an update and 3 of our IT guys said it is no longer compatible with my system.
This thermometer is a good buy. Showed the temperature pretty accurately. In terms of consistency, I would rate it 3.5/5, as there were inconsistencies on consecutive tests. However, I like the fact that was easy and quick to handle, especially with a cranky kid.
