  • Reengineering geek - They make this out to be a "safe" product but I didn't like the residue that ended up everywhere and the air ...

Not that impressed and it was a huge amount of effort (to clean, vacuum, sweep this stuff into areas, then vacuum up the residual if needed) in comparison to some of the sprays that kill both live and emerging fleas and/or that are safe enough to put on the pet bedding. They make this out to be a "safe" product but I didn't like the residue that ended up everywhere and the air borne powder. I rescue cats and had much better luck with the sprays. Also, vacuuming is the key. I also have cats i cannot hold yet (so cant apply revolution each month) and was able to put some of the sprays (pet safe one) on their bed which eventually got rid of the live fleas.

  • Florencio Carlos - So so ... Take his advice with a grain of salt

After purchasing several of Rick's books -- Ive found that most of his advice is pretty good. HOWEVER, what i definitely recommend you stay away from are his shopping recommendations. I also wish he had better map illustrations in his books instead of the 200 yr treasure map art he uses.

  • Amazon Customer - Fast-Paced and Intense

How far will a candidate go to be President of the United States? That's the question we're faced with in The Candidate by Lis Wiehl. This is the second book in Wiehl's Newsmakers series, but is easily read on its own without having read the first book.

  • joan berlly - A wonderful, funny

A wonderful, funny, touching and sometimes brutally honest journey through this super talented woman's life. She touches on issues and challenges in her life that many of us can relate to - difficult childhood, lack of self esteem, troubled marriages. I loved traveling with her on her quest to overcome the past to succeed in becoming one of today's top lyricists A great read! I loved it and didn't want it to end!

  • Matt - But like previously stated I was a little disappointed I didn't ...

There's a guy on here saying that you couldn't buy just the dlc. Yes you could've at GameStop for $30. But like previously stated I was a little disappointed I didn't get the sparrow but other than that it's a good price for the game and all the expansions.

  • K. Shipman - I love this product!

I have been using Kids 'N' Pets for many years with great results. My five kids are now nearly grown and we currently use it mainly for pet accidents. I have learned not to leave the carpet soaking wet when I use it. When it is applied lightly and most of the liquid is blotted out, there is no stain or odor. I highly recommend this product.

  • Old Goat - Bad Hoover Customer Support -- saved by Amazon

At the request of my wife, I got this vacuum based on a high recommendation and demo from a friend who liked theirs. The reviews on Amazon gave it a high rating as well. It arrived with a sticker and manual saying to contact Hoover if there was a problem and not return it to retailer. So we unpacked it and discarded the shipping boxes (my first mistake). I assembled it, as it was more complex than my wife was up to (not hard but you do need to use a screwdriver). Charged up the battery that night. Then I was off on a business trip early the next morning with out testing it. (my second mistake) When I got back I learned that the suction worked on the vacuum but the brushes did not turn. It appears to be a defective power switch that cannot turn to the third position to turn on the brushes. So I did what it said on the label and called Hoover (third mistake). Then I learned they don't work week ends, when I am home. So I printed out all the order details, wrote down the model number and series number from the label on it (there is no serial number I could find) and took it all with me to work the next week. I called on my lunch break. I was told I needed to know the "manufacture number" for it. When I said I did not have a way to get that that day, he eventually told me that he could help without it. I explained that it appeared to be a defective power switch. After a long period on hold he came back and ask for my zip code and then gave me the name and address of a repair place about an hours drive from home. He said that place could either repair or replace it for me. Fortunately the repair shop is open late and on weekends. So when I got home, I put the vacuum in the car and drove off. I showed my problem to the guy at the repair shop and he said yes the switch appeared to be defective, but Hoover was very slow sending parts and it would be several months to get it repaired. He said they would not let him exchange it. He recommended I ignore the Hoover directions and contact Amazon to get my money back. However, by this point the shipping boxes were long gone. Frustrated, I drove home, giving me another hour of drive to fume about this.
