While this guide is written in a conversational, almost friendly style, it's well organised and filled with helpful information. It has diagnostic tests for each of the subtopic it covers--algebra, plane geometry, solid geometry, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, functions, and "miscellaneous" topics, which includes all the odds and ends. These diagnostic tests are very useful to help students determine what areas need more work as they are preparing for the actual test.

My new doctor thought I might be glucose intolerant and suggested I do some research on the topic. I headed for Amazon.com and purchased this book within a few days of my doctor's appointment. As I read through the book, discovering I had all the characteristics of being insulin-resistant, I began to make some of the changes discussed- choosing foods that were on the lower end of the glycemic scale, limiting myself to no more than 30 grams of carbohydrate per meal, linking carbs with protein, waiting 3 hours between meals before consuming anything with carbohydrates, and eating 5 meals per day instead of 3. My goal was to feel better as I felt tired and sluggish a lot. At my next doctor's appointment (3 weeks after the first), I was feeling much better and.... I had lost 7 lbs. without even trying to lose anything! I was merely putting into practice some of the suggestions I had read to help me get rid of feeling so tired and sluggish. As time went on, I felt better and better and had renewed energy. My doctor even said I was all smiles and my eyes glowed. And the weight loss? At a return appointment three weeks after the first, another 7 lbs. were off, and 3 more weeks after that I had lost another 5. Combining this healthier eating plan with exercise, I feel fantastic! I no longer have that mid-afternoon slump, have come off caffeine (except for one cup on Saturday and Sunday mornings), and have more energy than I ever thought possible! I have also lost 30 lbs. in 4 months, gone down 2 clothing sizes, and have even won a Presidential Physical Fitness Award. I am never hungry and I know I can eat this healthier way forever. You don't have to count points like some diet programs and write everything down- who can do that for the rest of their lives? I am working towards another Presidential Physical Fitness Award and am very thankful my doctor put me on the right path to regaining my health and fitness. All I know is this book made a big difference in my life and whenever anyone asks me about my weight loss and energy, I enthusiatically share with them this book which put everything in perspective and helped me improve my health so drastically!

It's most got Shimano 105 components and is good value (2012 model) at this year's discounted prices. Like a number of other reviewers, I needed to change the cassette as I like in the hills and needed a 28T to get me up some of the steep roads round here :). Looks nice with a matt black frame and I've taken it out most days over the past 2 weeks with no issues.

I'm completely baffled by the negative reviews. As far as I'm concerned, this stuff is miraculous! I've been using it for YEARS, and it works better than anything out there. You don't need to scrub AT ALL! Just spray it on, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, then gently rub with the scrubber they include. The grime is chemically changed somehow, and lifts right off of porcelain. Kind of like how Goo Gone changes sticker goo into a gel, and comes right off. This is one product that totally lives up to it's claims. It does EXACTLY what they say it does. You do have to be careful of the fumes, and open a window. It's professional grade stuff. But you can't beat the results! They better never stop making this stuff! Amazon, you should get it back in stock ASAP!

This is really nice stuff. I used my moms for a few days and fell in love with it. The feel of it is really nice on your skin. I use it on my face and neck before bed. A little goes farther than you think it will!

I was so freaking lucky to get my hands on an ARC at bookcon and got to meet Amie and Jay! I loved Illuminae so much and I had a high standard for Gemina and it delivered! I liked that we got two new characters and got to see what else was going on in their world and the impact of the events in Illuminae. Nik and Hanna were very entertaining and I really loved their characters. I liked that there were even more different types of files and media in Gemina to tell the story. I loved how it flowed and was so sucked in by the drama. I am so in love with this series!

I stumbled upon this book as I was searching for my next Sci-Fi read and was intrigued by the premise. The book lived up to all expectations and I heartily recommend it to any fan of hard science fiction. Well conceived, well written, and well edited. I can't wait for the next installment!
