I'm sorry to report that I haven't had the chance to review this product (Text). Inititally, I purchased this text for a class, however, the class was cancalled and I never got the chance to review the text. But instead of sending the text back to amazon, I decided to keep it and at a later date, review the text at my leisure and perhaps one day still beable to write my book.
Ohhh I wished I thoroughly read through more reviews before purchasing this unwieldy beast of a blender ! While I agree with most reviewers that it crushes ice incredibly well, it has little to be desired in terms of blending a good smoothie. If you don't add enough liquid, then it literally does nothing; then, when you have to add more liquid, the end result is a very watery, dissatisfying "slushy" (because it no longer qualifies for a smoothie !). The blades terrify me. Should have hung in there with my cheap yet reliable Oster.
Ever try to get technical support from ROXIO? Good luck! Bought two months ago and haven't had a chance to use. Anti-virus program cleaned registry and Creator NXT stopped working as expected. Tried to repair from Creator disk and did not fix. Removed and tried to reload but the message was that the key had been used too many times. Tried web site for customer service and without purchasing a support number for $25 you are out of luck. Other products give much better support than this. I will never buy a ROXIO or CORREL product again, there are other companies that support what they sell.
Absolutely stay clear of this machine. I have tried numerous times to have it connect to my wifi, including creating two accounts for Furbo. I changed my wifi password six times, including to something more simple, no characters and just number letter variation. This is a pain as I have to change all the other devices to the new passwords after changing. I also created a new guest network for the Furbo itself and it does not work. Just for the information of this review: I have a Apple Extreme Airport Base Station and have the following devices connected with no problem to my base station: Samsung TV, Amazon Echo, Mac Air, and my iPhone. I have been communicating and even took a video of the entire process for customer service to review and their only suggestion is to keep trying with new devices. The amount of times they have asked me to use a separate device ( I don't have an android device and iphone device) and refuse to buy another device to set this up. I have been communicating with their customer service since around Aug 18 and their own website says I can return within 30 days of receiving the item. However, they keep suggesting a number of options that are not likely ( like finding a public wifi spot to start set up, or creating a mobile hotspot to set up). Here is the thing I'm a reasonable person, but I think I've gone above and beyond what a normal person should go through to get this device set up.
