  • 3dogs&a-girl - Nice scrub, great ingredients

This is not the kind of body scrub I'm used to. It's a little dryer and the salt particles don't clump together. That makes it a little harder to put on your body, as it falls out of your hand before you can fully apply it. Let's face it: all body scrubs are a mess to apply. That's why I do it in the bath, and not the shower. At least the bathwater contains the scrub. Plus, it's better to let the scrub sit on your body for a minute or so before you rinse.

  • Brolin - Very inaccurate, adds steps you didn't take, throws off statistics, no real support

The biggest complaint about this is, it is very very very very inaccurate on all accounts. Steps taken, calories burned, distance and active minutes are all way off. In sleep mode (which you have to activate in which no instructions tell you that) I burn 800 calories. Are you kidding me? Also, the step counter registers steps in your sleep thus adding onto calories burned and distance traveled. That's a joke. Their support forums say the fitbit is tested to be accurate while typing, talking on a phone, riding in a car, ect,. well guess what? I earn 700 steps by riding 5 miles in my car to work. Thus once again adding to the calories burned, steps taken and distance. I finally found a setting where you can turn "estimated calories" off and on, that seemed to have helped somewhat but it's still very inaccurate. No person on this planet burns 1796 calories by getting dressed, walking to your vehicle, driving to work, walking to your office, sitting down and working on a computer/phone all day. That's without my daily jogs alone in which i burn 139 calories on going just a few short miles for an hour. I've even set my walking and running strides to the approximate setting. I can count myself walking 50 steps, the fitbit registers 300 and says I've gone 0.3 of a mile. This is a horrible device and no way to calibrate it. Their tech support has no real answer and keeps talking in circles about what this device SHOULD do and how it SHOULD work going into the specifics on how stuff is measured and calculated. What a waste of money.

  • james - Sadly Disappointed

Looks cool and that's it. would have been nice to know what devices are compatible before I pre-ordered and waited months to get it..I'm not very likely to go buy a new phone just to play with a toy...it shipped nicely packed..good for returning it in. Sadly disappointed, wasted my time.

  • Jdbaker82 - RIP Blizzard

Well I have to applaud Blizzard in all reality. From a business stand point it would seem like you're on the perfect track to make the shareholders at Activision very, very pleased.

  • Michael B. Cahill - If you want a reason to hate bad American writing.....buy this book!!!!

I strongly recommend against buying this book in any form. It was a complete waste of my time and energy. Amazing that someone actually took some degree of care in compiling this material - as something they thought worth reading by someone (anyone) else. The compilation includes a range of "Best American" poems, comics, prose, etc. Perhaps the editor is an advocate of the need to diminish all things American. He succeeded. Sherman Alexie's Best American American Poem "Tin House" is an excellent example of the shallow and inane material included in this collection. Teddy Wayne's "Best American Apocryphal Discussions Between our Nation's Founding Fathers" is trivial but also lifeless. After a few other selected gems like "Best American Tattoo Stories" I gave up and took some joy in throwing this book in the trash.

  • The Simple Guy - Simply but good starter Slow Cooker for the FAM

I've always wanted a slow cooker but haven't found that fits my budget until I searched amazon and chose this one based on the features. II really like this slow cooker because you can safely secure the top without making a mess in your kitchen. I found this one big enough for me and my family , I cook a lot and freeze the food so we can eat it in a later date. I tried this out cooking some roast beef and it was great! the seal seems to be doing its job keeping the moisture in. I was reading the other reviews about how the Slow Cooker can get really hot and its true but it hasn't bothered me yet, also it takes a while to cool down.

  • David Hayden - Big Fan of Cookbook-Style Books

I enjoy cookbook-style development books. First, they are a great way to learn new language and .NET Framework Features that you may not normally be exposed to. Second, they are all about the code, which means the code is typically of much better quality than you will normally find in introductory books and code snippets on the Internet. Third, they literally pay for themselves because they solve common problems that you will no doubt run into during day-to-day development and often this code gets added to your personal libraries and used from project-to-project. And, last, they are much more enjoyable to read as you can jump around and learn about problems and their solutions that interest you or relate to a current project.
