Really liked this until the Controller started acting up. Now it won't work at all. As soon as I start pressing the up buttons, it starts beeping and flipping back and forth between the time remaining and the intensity level reading. It starts this at bout intensity level 5; and while it's doing this it is also not contracting the muscles. You apparently can't buy a replacement Controller. Given the price of the system, I'm not happy that it worked for less than 5 months before this happened.
Even though the camera tgat was sentvdid nit work it was solved through good customer service. Have already recommended to a friend who has just bought a smart can
Ok so I dont normally do reviews but for this product I feel I must. I got this product without high expectations. I like so many others have tried every "miracle" product and solution out there for years. None of course was the cure. As I aged I realized there is no miracle so I went into getting this product with eyes open. Years ago I had knee issues and had this same type therapy done at the pt office and know the general thoughts behind it. I also understand its not promising miracles. This belt is not about losing weight. Its about tightening and maintaining and abdominal muscle structure. This is probably one of the best investments I have made. I have a pretty severe case of diastasis recti from several surgeries and a ventral hernia and within a couple weeks of using this belt I began noticing a difference in the muscle structure. My large bulge is not as noticeable now. This belt has really helped. I wear it daily and am not even at max quite yet. Still only at the 130 power range so far. I would definately recommend this to those needing help with abdominal muscle integrity. For those thinking this will help them lose weight and is a "miracle " cure all, its not.
I needed a counter top hot plate since the apartment I am moving to doesn't have a stove, and I wanted one with the solid cast-iron top, rather than the "coiled elements" for easy cleaning. But since I don't cook very often I couldn't see spending a lot of money for one! When I opened the package and took it out of the box, I heard something moving around inside the unit! Of course I plugged it in... and it didn't work. Hmmm, "Made in China", why am I not surprised! (Great quality control Aroma!!!) So being that I fix mechanical and electrical products for a living, rather than send it back I disassembled it. Here when they put it together they just laid two of the wires inside without connecting them. So it wasn't hard to figure out, I just connected the wires where they were supposed to go, and presto, it works ok now. I look on the bright though, at least they put the wires inside the unit, and didn't omit them, as they are heat resistant fiberglass braided wires, and probably would have cost me more to buy them than the hot plate costs! I don't know how long it will last, but we'll see! If you're looking for one for everyday, or heavy duty, commercial use, save your money and buy a good one!
I can't add to all the glowing praise but perhaps I can help you make a decision about size. The 5 1/2 qt size is small enough to make small batches of any food and big enough to make double batches of stews and sauces. I have baked bread, fried, deep fried, stewed, braised, and boiled in this pot. I have a bigger pot and a smaller one, but this one gets used almost every day. If you are wanting to upgrade to this product line, this size is the one to start with. By the way clean up is a breeze-- I have burnt food on, cooked tomato based sauces, burnt spillage on the outside and generally made a mess and my pot looks like new. If I had only one pot in my kitchen this would be it.
I installed this item less than 1 month ago. Since then, I have spent 3+ hours with customer service dealing with bugs. These bugs had to do first with the real-time scanning - namely, it wouldn't stop starting up, even once disabled. They then had to do with the software's attempts to update itself. Even after this bug was "fixed," the software often gets hung up trying to update. Meanwhile, it interferes with various programs, including my gmail, yahoo mail, and outlook. And by "interferes," I mean: renders inoperable.
The box I got is labeled as shade 20R. I was looking for something with a blue tone (signified by B in the color number, e.g. 20RB). I have a pink/cool complexion and need a shade with blue tones. I can't use straight red tones (signified by R).
