  • 7th day Sabbath - 2012 Diamondback Overdrive Comp

First off was looking for a full suspension 29er. Tested the Trek Rumblefish and Superfly 100 and then the top dog on my list, the Santa Cruz Tall boy. I still intend on purchasing the Tallboy but at $3,000 I'll need to save for that. Plus I need a bike for my wife. So I either get one for myself or buy a cheaper 29er and get her one. Enter the Diamondback Overdrive Comp 2012 version. I found mine for a steal of a deal still in the box at $489! I was told to look longer and purchase a Cannondale, Specialized, or Trek. Well I looked at these and for the price of the Comp these other big companies couldn't compete with what Diamondback has on the their bikes in the hardtail 29er version. Components are good, but not the best but I'd say better than average. The saddle is a bit hard and I will probably replace this. The bike on the trail handles exceptionally well. Again all I have to compare this too was the full suspension 29ers I was spending much time on. The last one being the the Tallboy by Santa Cruz, an expensive boutique bike that is rated as one of the best. In comparison to the FS bikes I was pleasantly surprised by the Comp. This bike can climb! In rock gardens, turns, or anything this bike can handle it. I've shown it to may people and they are really surprised at the weight of the bike. It's lighter than I expected. I thought it was going to be very heavy but it's actually very manageable. Of course its not as light as the Santa Cruz or the Superfly 100 but seemed about a light as the Trek rumblefish. I do like Schimano components and SRAm for me is taking some getting used to but thats a small thing. It shifts very well and accurately. Most of the other big companies have a 29er in a hard tail, but like I said they don't offer what DB does for the price, and as I tested their bikes the DB Comp 29er performs better than their 29er hardtails! I think sometimes you are paying for the name on these other 29er hard tails.

  • Don Carver - Watch what you purchase!

Next time I can afford a range extender I will purchase the same brand as the router. It doesn't work with older routers such as Lynksys E3000. Intermittent connection and will totally drop the connection. I finally bought a Netgear R8000 which reaches throughout my whole house which cost just a little more than the Securifi Almond+.

  • Ethan Fortier - Fire proof

I used to think that the cable was too expensive, but I then realized how wrong I was when my house burnt down to nothingness. The diamond luckily saved the HDMI cable. Since my house burns down on a regular basis, buying this HDMI cable was quite a worthwhile investment. It also stimulates the economy in Africa, so +1, would buy again, and again, and again, and again....

  • akreporter - Great for muscle aches, but the jury's still out on the cellulite

I've been using this for a little over 2 weeks on my legs for cellulite. I haven't seen much difference with the cellulite, but I also started working out again and have been sore in my lower back, knees and shins. So I tried it out to see if it would help with the soreness and it did! It works very similarly to icy hot. It starts out very cold and then gradually warms to almost a burning, (but not quite) heat. I would say for about the first 5-10 min it is cool and then it gets hot for about 20 min and gradually fades away. It does have a pretty strong menthol similar to Vicks Vapo Rub. What is crazy is that my legs will feel so hot but still be cool to the touch. I'm not sure how that works but it is actually pretty relaxing once it warms up. I typically just put in on at night before bed because of the smell and sensation. It is more of a gel than a cream and a little goes a long way. I like that I don't have to use a whole bunch of it like with some other products. I have used this every day for about the last 17 days on several large parts of my (larger) body and it's still more than 2/3 full. I did notice that the sensation was strongest the first couple of times and then after that it seemed to be less intense. Also it seems like when I put it on wet skin, the feeling is more intense than when I put it on dry skin. I like that it is made of mostly all natural products like essential oils. Like I said, I have not noticed any difference yet in the cellulite, but I have definitely seen results for muscle pain, so for that I am giving it 4 stars. If I do see more improvements in the cellulite as I continue to use this I will update this review.

  • Jennifer - Fantastic Prep Book! Worth EVERY penny!

This book is a lifesaver! I have been out of school for over a decade and it brought me right up to speed. I take the GRE in two weeks and I feel fully prepared and confident I can score in the 70th percentile thanks to this book. The practice tests and online access give you an accurate perception of where you stand. They consist of a combination of easy and difficult questions so you don't get to comfortable or disillusioned that the test will be harder or easier than it really is. I like that you have two copies of the book, one online and one paper so you can write in the paper copy for practice then redo the questions online in a format nearly identical to the official test. The only thing I do not like is that the mobile aspect of the book is only available for Apple devises not Android. Good luck to all the GRE takers out there! I sincerely recommend buying this book to study!
