Great value. I took a chance on TaxACT after years of using either Turbo Tax or the HR Block software (both of which I liked). I was not aware of TaxACT until reading the warnings from other people about Turbo Tax effectively jacking their prices way up for the same product (Fed + State) from the prior year. The installation went fine and I did not have any problems using the software. Note - I always wait for the last week to file my taxes as I find that ALL tax software programs have bugs and issues in the early releases. Overall I was very happy as I found TaxACT to be comparable in features to the better known offerings at a fraction of the cost.

I buy this book most years. It acts as an excellent reference. I know quite a bit about tax, law but I'm not an expert. The book supplements and reinforces my knowledge, and reminds me of items I may not quite remember in detail. I can't say how useful the book would be for a complete novice in tax matters; certainly the answers are all there.

I reordered this magazine for my grandson's birthday. It was a favorite of my 4 sons and one I had in my classroom during the 40 years I taught third and fifth graders. For children who enjoy non-fiction reading about wild animals, it is an excellent magazine with beautiful pictures and diagrams and a lot of good information.

Ordered the magicjack plus and received it in good time. Read the instructions which said to plug it into the computer and after the software is downloaded to follow the instructions on the screen to register it so I could use it. The download went fine but nothing showed up on the screen. I then contacted the 'magicjack experts' via the internet and told them my tale of woe at which time the 'expert' on the other end said that he must have more information and he would get right to work on it. And, by the way the charge for helping to get THEIR product registered so that I could use it would be $38.00. I promptly signed off and decided that I didn't care for the ethics of the company and decided to send it back. As with most companies with lower standards, trying to find an address to send it back to is another task. I tried the web address that magicjack has in their information and the answer came back that it didn't exist. They can hide, but they will be found.
