  • hudman - Positive experience from consummated order to completed installation

The purchased mud guard (flaps) were shipped and delivered promptly. All along the process, the vendor notified me of the shipment and I was able to locate the status by the assigned tracking number. The vendor additionally provided (easy-to-follow) installation instructions via e-mail and promptly responded to any related questions and concerns. Such attention brings recollection of Good Customer Service where seemingly less now than traditionally before. Total installation time for all four guards could be within 20 minutes. I took a little longer by removing each of the four wheels and marking the surfaces for the speed / spring clips with a felt tip fine point pen (Sharpie) to ensure the guard and mounting points were concentric to provide the appearance of a original purchase or after market installation. The supplied mounting screws easily fastened to the car by hand and highly recommended as fastening is to non-metal surfaces. Use of a power electric drill is unnecessary. Overall, I rate the experience successful and positive.

  • Ed King - For just accounting, it's OK if you can stand the intrusiveness!

Updating from Quickbooks 2007, the install failed miserably and repeatedly. Finally decided to NOT remove 2007 product and the install proceeded ok. The registration is even MORE intrusive than it was in 2007, demanding names, phone numbers, company use, etc. After entering all that, they try to trick you into calling them for more sales pitch. (Look for the very small type under the CALL US button which avoids that!) My first reboot after the install gave me a 'You don't have a legitimate copy of Windows' message. A reboot solved that fortunately. Had to have been QuickBooks as there was nothing else I'd done. Afterward you'll want to turn off all the automatic stuff (it adds things into your startup file) or you'll get sucked into something. Fortunately, the conversion of company files went through without a hitch. At some point I'll try to delete 2007 - or maybe just ignore it so they don't screw things up any further.

  • Michael van Vuuren - Meh and it smells lovely....I mean if you are a walrus it smells nice.

It doesn't work versus rats. It does work versus mice, geese, raccoons, and skunks not that I am getting close enough to verify the last one. Let me clarify on this, it smells like it's going to work but unless you want your house to smell like slightly over potpourri-ed spice concoction I suspect burning the house down will work better than fumigating it with this stuff. Although I noticed less bugs...I mean I didn't have a bug problem before so - never mind on that.I had pretty high expectations, especially given the recommendations and the whole epa approval stuff. I mean we are talking about a rat here, a big furry nightmare who love birdseed and ignores rat poison and peanut butter, so I guess I will not have mice, but that may be because the rat ate them...
