I keep my bible very close while reading it, too much information regarding the evil of the secret societies. I remember very well Satan causing the fall of Adam and Eve by telling them about the knowledge of good and evil. I prefer to have only knowledge of good. With that said pray often for Our Fathers Holy Spirit as you read this book. If the information provided in this book is factual...and Mr Horn's research is accurate then my comment is " Come Lord Soon" ....May the people who love the LORD in America and around the world prepare for our Messiah's return. .
My friend has the G100 (seltzer bottle is more free standing) and I was impressed. When I went to the store, I got this model figuring I'd save a few dollars. When I got it home and set it up, the design is just bad. When you go to get the bottle out, you have to jimmy it and seltzer gets everywhere.
Thought was Very Interesting and Wanted to learn How Some Other "Religions" Meditate and chant words and other prayers.... I especially Likes the Confidence Spells~ Liked it very much... I would have given it 5 stars if I didn't down load it and had all the items listed in the spells "prayers" to do... So more my fault not having had physically bought it... I want to in the future!
This collection from 2011 was not one of the most effective of the Best series, and it was disappointing in many ways. That said, there were some moments that stood out as masterful - Englander, McCracken, and Saunders were some of the most notable and pleasurable pieces in the book, but some of the other pieces felt as though they were included to pique the interest and tastes of all audiences, and I felt like Brooks' editing was all over the place in tone, scope, and even the general ordering of the pieces seemed not to make much sense. The central thread seemed as though there was a non-fiction journalistic sort of approach, and while I tend to normally enjoy these books, this collection was disappointing in this manner as some of these choices weren't very pleasant or refreshing. I felt some of the pieces were bland, and I was not enjoying getting through them. I felt like it was a classroom of writers exercise in collection, rather than an exercise in editing and choice. This is one of the few times I have been disappointed in Best American, so I will certainly continue to read them, but the energy that is normally infused in these collections is simply a cold rubber bladder rather than something I enjoyed.
