One star may actually be generous in light of what Writer's Market used to be in contrast to the abstruse, nearly unusable thing it has become. I was introduced to Writer's Market in 1975, and have made it a mainstay purchase for more than 30 years of freelance success. Over the past few years, however, the format has changed so drastically and negatively that now I only check out a library copy when I absolutely must, and then struggle through the "sea of gray" until I can somehow find the information I am looking for. No category or subject classifications combined with a weak, name-only index make the "new" Writer's Market a readability nightmare. Obviously there was some kind of change in staff or leadership that created this mess, and now is too myopic to admit or correct it.
Who just owns one computer anymore? They should at least let you load it onto 2 or 3. I have 3 computers....6 total in the household.
My daughter convinced me to buy this product, and I'm so glad that I did! When it first arrived, I wasn't particularly impressed by looking at it - the container is small, it's not cheap, and most importantly, the cream itself looked thin. My daughter and I both have hyperpigmentation, so we're always looking for products that give us great coverage, without looking like we have tons of makeup on. A little of this goes a long way and even though it feels and looks very natural, it evens out skin tone and provides excellent coverage. I have a few very dark spots, so those areas need some extra coverage but overall, the rest of my face looks pretty darn good. I even splurged and bought the recommended brush that goes along with it (the IT dual brush) and it works really well. Super soft brush (Amazon was by far the cheapest place to buy it) that spreads the cream evenly. If you're like us and have tried tons of different coverage products, I think that you will be very happy with this one. My daughter even says that it has improved the condition of her skin (less breakouts, etc) but I have not used it long enough to determine that one way or another.
My husband and I borrowed many different Italy travel books from the library and found this one to be the best, so we purchased it for our trip. The information provided is excellent - the book is well organized and covers everything, including detailed info about walking tours and tourist sites. If you want one all inclusive book, this is the one to get.
This book is one of the few exceptional -absolutely execptional- tales of survival and it proves the maxim that nothing is so bad that it can't get worse. But also it proves that you can know the end of a story - it is a well known fact that Shackleton brought all his men through this arduous trial and all survived - and it doesn't spoil the story at all. Truth is not only stranger than fiction, but it is a good deal harder.
