Popular Science looks great on the Kindle Fire HD! Very easy to navigate and use. A bunch of people left negative reviews, but if you read them, they're mostly about problems with the Kindle app for other Android devices (which has nothing to do with this content, specifically), or they're complaints about the price. Well, I don't know how that one guy thinks he's getting a year of the printed version for only $7.00, but I just subscribed to the Kindle version for $10.49 annually, which is much better than the best renewal price they just offered me for the printed version. And as I said, it looks and works great. I'm going to cancel my print subscription for a partial refund, and stick with the digital version from now on. I'm very happy with it.
Very sleek looking head unit, fits great with my interior but I think the "boss" corporation needs to include in the description about needing a certain adapter plug for your make and model car.
I like the unit. The landing gear switch works great. The switch for the engines doesn't seem to do anything. I may have to reload the soft ware.
Wow! I'm IMPRESSED with how well this salt lamp works to purify the air! I bought it because we moved into a new home and woke up sneezing and congested everyday. We deep cleaned the whole house and it was still happening. I love that the stones are protected in the plastic and do not leak when this lamp is on. Overall I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a quality salt lamp!
Who knows? A bit like wearing tin foil on your head to protect you from gamma rays. Maybe they work - they taste good at least.
I love all things National Parks and this book did a great job succinctly describing each park. It was nice to see various itineraries and hikes. My beef with the book is the editing (kindle version). For instance, Petrified Forest NP is the title for both the Petrified Forest section and also the following Pinnacles NP. I had to swipe back and forth a couple times to make sure that it was wrong. Also, it bugged me that under the Rocky Mountain National Park section it showed a picture of Maroon Bells which is hundreds of miles away in Aspen. Other than that there were a few general typos...not what I'd expect from a high quality publication like this. It's a great resource...just wish they would have edited it better.
Doesn't track kids and the camera performance is poor even if you have perfect lighting and distance. The UI is confuse and error prone.
