Don't let others' negative reviews keep you from buying this--not everyone is going to have the same experience with it. While I may say it works great for me (and it does), it may not work as great for the next person. I say go ahead and buy it just to see if it works for you; if it doesn't, then keep looking for something that does. At least it was cheap and didn't break you!
Great product. I started using the eye drops per my doctor's recommendation. I never tried any other products so I cannot give a comparison but I feel this is a good product.
Got the job done, and the installation was super easy. I didn't even need tools. I would have liked a more positive feel for the clamping action to they side rails. It seems like it wants to pop up a bit instead of a nice confident click or latch. Makes me a bit nervous, but it did get me from NY to GA with a large Thule on the roof, so I suppose I shouldn't complain too much.
Doesn't work as fast as I want it to, but you can't rush these things. I read ppl complaining how it didn't work - they were probably pressing too hard. If you barely make contact, the roller can do it's job and you can see the dust fly. I'm happy with it.
