I love Virgil, Lucas.....all the characters in theses books. This one was harder to get into because of the concept. Once I got far enough, it was a pleasure.
I LOVED this product when we first got it and used it daily! After about a month and a half it stopped working and I was outside the "return window". It's been sitting in my closet since then with hopes of it one day miraculously working again. It hasn't. And it's so disappointing. I really did like it - with four kids and a dog it would be useful again.
I have not had a need to used this book extensively. However, what little bit I have used it, it seems to have the answers to most any questions one might have about Quicken 2012. If you are a new Quicken 2012 user,or someone who has been using Quicken for years I think it is a good book to have on hand.
I found it very odd there was no guage to know how deep you're cutting. I'm using it to mill rough cut boards so its not the end of the world and I will keep it. Otherwise it has worked great.
Acronis True Image is a very good back-up utility. The user interface is straight-forward, and automated scheduling makes doing routine back-ups a snap. Having said that, I have not had occasion to have to recover data from the back-ups, so I am assuming that all is ready and the recovery functions will work should I ever need to do so. I had an issue when a new version of the software was loaded on-line. The system could not find back-up data files it was looking for, so it would not do automated back-ups. I ended up deleting all of the previous back-up files, reloading the original version of Acronis 2015, updating to the new version, and then running a complete system back-up from scratch. I found that getting technical support for something as simple as a software version update (which Acronis prompted me to do via e-mail) is very difficult if your "free" service agreement has expired. Bottom line: I like the product...product support not as much.
